We are pleased to announce that as of September 1, 2003 there is a new kid on the block in the world of local container drayage within the Port of Vancouver. The "Pacific Transportation Group Ltd." made it official and entered into the local container drayage marketplace within the Port of Vancouver by concluding its business transaction with the principals of Cansea Transport. The transaction will see the local container division of Cansea split from their highway division and take on the new name of the Pacific Transportation Group. Company executives Rob Reid and Keith MacInnes, who are also the principals of the well known Shadow Lines, have entered into a new business partnership with the local container carrier Bob Simpson, the President and owner of TEAM TRANSPORT SERVICES Ltd. Service is the name of the game and the group is equally pleased to let you know that the top-notch staff you have come to know in the past shall also remain with Pacific.
